The Fountain of Life School of Ministry (FOLSOM) in conjunction with the Oral Roberts University Bible Institute, offer classes that equips the intentional minister and laity for the work of the ministry. The duration of training is approximately 18 months. Upon fulfilling all requirements, ministers will receive a Certificate in General Theological Studies from FOLSOM in conjunction with the Oral Roberts University Bible Institute. There are three phases in our process. First, FOLSOM offers a five (5) week course on Ministerial Development. This course guides ministers on a path to discerning, discovering and finding delight in their call to ministry. Second, students who believe that they have discerned their call are invited to make application to FOLSOM in conjunction with the Oral Roberts University Bible Institute.
After completing nineteen (19) certificate hours, students will receive the Certificate in General Theology from FOLSOM in conjunction with Oral Roberts University Bible Institute. Students who continue to earn a cumulation of thirty-three (33) certificate hours, will also receive the Diploma of Theological Studies from FOLSOM in conjunction with Oral Roberts University Bible Institute. THIS PROCESS IS A REASONABLE PATHWAY TO MINISTERIAL CREDENTIALING AND AN ONGOING PROCESS IN SPIRITUAL FORMATION.

Fountain of Life School of Ministry strives to ensure that each student experiences a balance in both academics as well as the recognition of and partnering with the Holy Spirit who is the Agent and Aid who facilitates effectual ministry. FOLSOM makes the safety of every student a priority. Students are therefore able to access our Virtual Campus via our ZOOM Platform. Only students who have a confirmed registration will be able to access the FOLSOM Classroom. (See Registration Procedures[CE1] [RF2] [RF3]  located on Virtual Campus web page).

[CE1] would add the location of the registration procedures. For example: See registration Procedures on our website, etc… [RF2]Great input. We will add the location. See registration link of Virtual Campus webpage [RF3]

PROCESS OF CREDENTIAL FOLSOM

opens its doors to ministers and laity who are interested in developing their skills for effective ministry. Credentialing of a minister falls into two categories: THE INTERNAL PROCESS: Credentialling is limited to ministers who have taken membership at the Fountain and have completed all required course prescribed by FOLSOM in conjunction with the Oral Roberts University Bible Institute. THE EXTERNAL PROCESS: Pastors from other churches can submit a letter of recommendation for those ministers who they have properly vetted to attend training at FOLSOM in conjunction with the Oral Roberts University Bible Institute. It is at the discretion of that pastor to determine credentialing for their ministers. The faculty and staff at FOLSOM will confirm completion with a letter and the required certificate.
